Our Animals

Masseria Ramello is one of the largest organic farms in Ticino for the production of milk and for the breeding of pigs. We also count with calves, heifers and about twenty laying hens.

Thanks to the continuous cultivation of the land, the diversity of crops and the large amount of trees that surround us, the Masseria is a suitable place for birds, in particular for swallows, but also for bees and other types of insects.

Animal welfare and production methods that respect the needs of the species are key factors both in the promotion of our products and in the context of the demands of Swiss agricultural policy.
